How to Diagnose and Lymphatic Cancer Treatment?
The lymph system is a tubular structure branching out to all the parts of the body and is vital to fight infections. Lymph is a colorless fluid that contains white blood cells (lymphocytes) and is carried by the lymph system.
There are various types of lymphatic cancer cancers and hence, answering a question, how to diagnose and lymphatic cancer treatment is a great challenge. The most common type of lymphatic cancer and the term that is used interchangeably is Hodgkins disease and the rest of the types are known as non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Diagnosis:
Although, there are several symptoms of lymphatic cancer, but they may be similar to any other illness, making it difficult to suspect the diagnosis of lymphoma.

Once a patient experiences symptoms, he/she may consult a physician, who may carry out the diagnostic procedure to confirm the disease. The diagnosis will be based upon:
Thorough physical examination of the patient Inquiry about the complete personal and family history Physically examining the lymph nodes for any abnormalities present Biopsy test to confirm about the malignancy present in the lymph nodes Chest x-ray to verify any enlargement of the lymph nodes in the chest Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) or Computer Tomography (CT) scan Ultrasound examination
After the diagnosis is done and the lymphatic cancer is confirmed, then the patient may further undergo a few tests to detect the exact stage of the disease.
Radiation Therapy – Powerful x-rays or any such radiations may be used to treat the lymphoma cancer. The radiations are directed to kill the abnormal cancerous cells either by internal or external radiation therapy. However, pregnant women are not eligible for radiation therapy until delivery.
Chemotherapy – This therapy uses anti-cancer drugs to destroy the malignant cells in the lymph system. The therapy may be administered through mouth, intravenously or placing directly into the cerebrospinal fluid. Although, chemotherapy may be observed in pregnant women, close watch is required to see any danger to the fetus.
Vaccine Therapy – This is a new treatment technique used to treat lymphoma. This technique aims at strengthening body’s immunity to fight the cancerous cells. The medications used are directed to restore the immune system and boost its defense against the malignancies.
High-dose chemotherapy in combination with stem cell transplant is another treatment option lately being considered. The technique is to replace the destroyed blood-forming stem cells in the patient with the donor stem cells.
Lymphatic cancer is type of cancer that affects the lymph system of the body. There are around 35 and more types of this cancer. Hence, how to diagnose and treat lymphatic cancer is a challenge for medical professionals. Like any other cancer, early detection and prompt treatment are vital.

Cure of cancer chemotherapy is simple – effective or not?
According to statistics, cancer is in the top 5 of the things that most fear people. It is right up there with “Death” and that. It is also there are living with AIDS/HIV; but given that the acquisition of HIV or AIDS is pretty much always your fault, I is cancer… well, we say, you never know, who is gonna hit.
It is a silent epidemic, which affects everyone, because it respects no one. We all know people who have cancer, people looking for ways to cure cancer; and for many of us, unfortunately, the US and also love.
CHEMOTHERAPY
The most popular (and accepted) method of curing cancer is chemotherapy. Why? Because since we were small children we, that were taught we are sick, we go to the doctor. And here one more thing is we “learned”, the doctor is always right. Now, 99% of illnesses and diseases, they know exactly what they’re talking about. And also, if they are talking cancer, they know the why and how – to of the disease, cells, etc.. But it is about the healing of cancer, that’s where knowledge ends.
For starters, here is the dictionary definition:
Chemotherapy – the treatment of diseases through the use of chemicals, in particular for the treatment of cancer by cytotoxic and other drugs.
“Cytotoxic” means literally toxic for cells. This means that chemotherapy actually to kill your cells. Now, granted, they are targets the cancer cells, but here is the logic. Imagine a group of people, about one hundred of them collected in a small space. There are 5 of them, which must be eliminated. Now imagine thrown chemotherapy as a grenade into the crowd. Oh sure, you could kill the 5, but what happens with the 95?
Doctors can on this line of reasoning with me disagree, but it is what it is. You need to promote chemotherapy because now there is still no known methods or the perfect way of curing cancer. You have to kill toxic chemicals to the cancer patients, the cancer cells. The physician’s Hippocratic oath says “Do no harm.” Uhm, I think there are exceptions.
IF NOT THE CHEMOTHERAPY, THEN WHAT?
Common sense tells us that the way to life restoring life treatments and medicine. Why then are in the world we not that the methods for the treatment of cancer including?
The hospitals, doctors and even the Government promoted and recognised that chemotherapy is the only way to expand or extend the life of the patient; It is (sic) of the most scientifically accepted way of healing of cancer.
Believe me when I say, there are other solutions. Chemotherapy is basically – slow you kill during the killing of your disease (as sounds stupid, you know that?).
It’s time for a revolution. A healing revolution.
Research, research, and then some more research. Find out other healthy and life-giving way to restore your health, and other techniques of healing of cancer.
Be no fool. Accept not only what everyone is doing.

Signs And Symptoms Of Lymphatic Cancer
It’s important that everyone knows the signs and symptoms of lymphatic cancer because it can save your life. Signs and symptoms can be similar to other, less serious illnesses, making diagnosis sometimes challenging. Lymphoma is often misdiagnosed as a flu or fatigue. However an early diagnosis is important, because if untreated, some types of lymphoma can be fatal within a short period of time.
By knowing your nodes, you will better understand your lymphatic system, as well as know the signs and symptoms of lymphoma. If signs and symptoms are detected early, there is a better chance for quicker diagnosis, treatment and overall survival.
The signs and symptoms of non-Hodgkin lymphoma vary from person to person depending on the type of lymphoma and where a tumor is located. Lymphatic cancer is also known as lymphoma and occurs in two different forms: Hodgkin’s lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Lymph Nodes
One of the main Symptoms of Lymphatic Cancer is painless swelling of the lymph nodes in the neck, armpit and groin.
Flu-like Symptoms
Lymphomas also commonly present with symptoms that resemble the flu, including a fever, night sweats and chills.
Fatigue
Another common Lymphatic Cancer Symptoms is persistent and chronic fatigue that is otherwise unexplainable.
Other Systemic Symptoms
Lymphatic cancer can also cause a sudden loss of appetite as well as rapid weight loss.
Diagnosis
The definitive sign of lymphatic cancer comes from taking a biopsy of a swollen lymph node and finding abnormal or cancerous cells when this tissue sample is viewed under a microscope.

Lymphatic Cancer ( Lymphoma )
Lymphatic cancer ( Lymphoma ) is a cancer in the lymphatic cells of the immune system. Typically, lymphomas present as a solid tumor of lymphoid cells.
Thomas Hodgkin published the first description of Lymphatic cancer (lymphoma) in 1832, specifically of the form named after him, Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It introduced the category non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), divided into 16 different diseases. The latest classification by the WHO (2008) lists 70 different forms of lymphoma divided in four broad groups.
Although older classifications referred to histiocytic lymphomas, Lymphatic cancer are recognized in newer classifications as of B, T or NK cell lineage.
A number of various different classification systems exist for lymphoma. Some forms of Lymphatic cancer are categorized as indolent (e.g. small lymphocytic lymphoma), compatible with a long life even without treatment, whereas other forms are aggressive (e.g. Burkitt’s lymphoma), causing rapid deterioration and death.
Hodgkin’s Lymphoma or Lymphatic cancer (formerly Hodgkin’s disease)
Named after the Doctor, Thomas Hodgkin, who first identified the disease in 1832, Hodgkin’s lymphoma ( Lymphatic cancer )is one of the most common cancers among younger people, although still relatively rare. It affects young adults aged between 15 and 35, and adults over the age of 55. More men than women are affected. The disease, although aggressive, can be successfully treated in about 80 per cent of cases.
It is defined by the presence of a large, abnormal B-lymphocyte cell. (This is called a Reed-Sternberg cell.) B-lymphocytes are produced in the body in response to invasion by a foreign body. This could typically be a virus or bacterium, but could include a toxin or a chemical.
Organs that have lymphoid tissue
Because lymphoid tissue is in many parts of the body, lymphatic cancer can start almost anywhere. The major sites of lymphoid tissue are:
Lymph nodes: Lymph nodes are bean-sized organs throughout the body that are connected by a system of lymphatic vessels. These vessels are like veins, except that instead of carrying blood, they carry lymph and immune system cells.
Lymph nodes get bigger when they fight infection. Lymph nodes that grow in reaction to infection are called reactive nodes or hyperplastic nodes and are often tender to the touch. An enlarged lymph node is not always a sign of a serious problem. People with sore throats or colds often feel enlarged lymph nodes in the neck. But a large lymph node is also the most common sign of lymphoma. Lymph node enlargement is discussed more in the section, ”
How is non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosed?“
Spleen: The spleen is an organ under the lower part of the rib cage on the left side of the body. An average adult spleen weighs about 5 ounces. The spleen makes lymphocytes and other immune system cells to help fight infection. It also stores healthy blood cells and filters out damaged blood cells, bacteria, and cell waste.
Thymus gland: The thymus lies behind the upper part of the breastbone and in front of the heart. Before birth, the thymus plays a vital role in development of T lymphocytes. The thymus shrinks and becomes less important over the first 20 years of life. Despite this, it continues to play a role in immune system function.
Adenoids and tonsils: These are collections of lymphoid tissue at the back of the throat. They help make antibodies against germs that are breathed in or swallowed. They are easy to see when they become enlarged during an infection or if they become cancerous.
Digestive tract: The stomach and intestines as well as many other organs also have lymphoid tissue.
Bone marrow: The bone marrow (the soft inner part of certain bones) makes red blood cells, blood platelets, and white blood cells. Red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. Platelets plug up small holes in blood vessels caused by cuts or scrapes. White blood cells’ main job is fighting infections. The 2 main types of white blood cells are granulocytes and lymphocytes. Bone marrow lymphocytes are primarily B cells. Lymphatic cancer sometimes start from bone marrow lymphocytes.
There are 5 different types of Hodgkin’s lymphoma or Lymphatic cancer. These 5 types are based on the way they look under a microscope.
- Nodular sclerosing Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
- Mixed cellularity Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
- Lymphocyte depletion Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
- Lymphocyte-rich classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
- Nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
